This group of people made a python script that will take objects in Minecraft and export a file that can be used as an object for a 3d printer.

So now you can use Minecraft as your 3D modeling program without having to learn how to use a program like Blender, or one of the god-awfully expensive programs. Not to mention that 3d printers continue to become more sophisticated with time, printing your own Mario figure (or pony ) may become a reality very soon.

What the hell is a 3D printer?

I think it uses some kind of clay/PlayDo substance to sculpt whatever 3D script was given to it, I'm not sure though.
