So a long time ago, I asked Evilpoptart if something nefarious was going on in this thread. He told me no. I trusted him, but was still slightly skeptical.

And, I had no reason to be. Good to see the members of this forum board aren't hiding some... something in a thread originally marked MILES KEEP OUT.

I am severely disappointed by A Super Mario World Central Production. Each level I did play in the game would work well in a hack of it's own, but the whole thing felt like somebody was trying to glue together legos of different sizes and shapes instead of connecting the blocks; resulting in one moment where I'm happy playing the game and it feels correct, and the next moment where I'm getting my ass handed to me by an antlion (or whatever they're called in cave story) in a level that was clearly developed by two people not working together to make the level feel congruent. If anything, Craggy Heights introduces you to a Super Paper Mario-like atmosphere, and completely dumps it after the first level. Ugh....

I could probably go on with the examples, but the point is, the rom hack didn't live up to my expectations.

I think they are trying to make a SMWC2 with improvements...
Without looking at SMWC, I really hope they realized the sporadic difficulty and feel was bad in the first game.
