Hopefully you didn't have to pull arms-and-legs to get that replacement screen. Most manufacturers of laptops want you to buy a new one, and not buy a replacement screen. Even though I don't have experience replacing a screen in a laptop, I've heard enough stories from colleges and classmates over how much of a pain-in-the-ass it can be to get a replacement screen.
Take a moment to ponder how amazing it is that everything in a typical laptop is crammed so tightly in there, and how the whole thing can be kept cool. You did keep all the screws and whistles in order too, right
