For those of you who don't know, I arrange Nintendo music (largely Mario, Kirby, and EarthBound series stuff) from time to time for the piano, and post it periodically on my
alternate YouTube channel. Most of my arrangements have a jazzy feel to them, and I try to stay close enough to the original themes for them to be pretty recognizable, both in actual melody and in form, though I have done some re-interpretations from time to time (most recently the Aqua Star theme from Kirby 64). I also do a bit of
original music, although most of that is stuff I find on my computer from a few years ago and decide to upload when I'm having a busy streak at college.
I suggest you check out
this playlist first, as it has most of my bigger arrangements, as well as a few of my personal favorites. If you want to see all of my video game arrangements, I add them to
this playlist as soon as I make them, removing any older versions as necessary.
Incidentally, I'm releasing an album of about an hour of high-quality, revamped arrangements called "Video Game Variations" next month; I'll be releasing one-track teasers about every week until release, and I even got someone to collaborate with me for the final promo. I'll probably put a full tracklist up the week before release, but I've pretty much decided on it now.
That's about it; also, while I'm here at college, I take requests for arrangements. I can't guarantee I can pull it off, but I've had a reasonably high success rate thus far. Don't be afraid to request something out of my normal series either, especially if it's in a similar vein to my existing stuff.
