Update time yes I think so.
Basically what I have done is best portrayed with screenshots first, then a wall of text

Ok, let me explain a little bit on what I did here. I had previously posted the smaller image of Bobbery. That image was reduced in size at the time for the forum as a quick post on the image I was going to be using. When in fact that image is 600x480 pixels A decent size image of Bobbery, but I face some challenges with any image like this.
1. Shading: All of PMTTYD have very fine gradients in their color (like all most modern games do nowadays) Example Bobberys feet, man-stashe, and hat have give a indication of this. When working with any type of pixel art, less is more. You do not want to over emphasize gradient colors/shading. This tends to draw the eye away from the over-all picture when looking at it from a distance. REMEMBER! these images will be/are going to be seen from quite a distance away, they never really are supposed to be seen with up close magnification because the eye can't blend the colors as easily, thus you notice jagged edges, odd colors, and detail filler. A good example is of the two above pictures. The image I will be working with is 150x120 pixels (on the left) vs 100x80 pixels (on the right). Obviously you can see the notable difference between the two from the first screenshot. but when viewed at normal magnification they look almost the same but with minor details missing and having less pixels.
2. Color limitations: Luckily for me Bobbery has all of the colors needed for me to make him look really good in minecraft

I did have to get creative for his steering wheel on his back, but I think the mixture of yellow and a bit of orange with the brown worked out the best. Again lots of color gradient and unique colors.
3. Personal work: Both of those images are hand-drawn by me

Well in there own sense. The best way I can show you how I was able to achieve this is by with the following links:
http://www.pixelgasm-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=35http://www.pixelgasm-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=36Its taken me a looong time to get good at pixel art work, I think of it more as a hobby now just to see what I can make. I have started branching out into sprite beading taking my learned skills and applying them to beads but minecraft is cheaper for me atm

So the final pixel project will be the 135x113 which is a decent size for minecraft standards. (considering I have done much larger projects which I still have screenshots of somewhere

)
Anyway last thing, I know we have done everything legitimately in the minecraft server I have talked with Miles and considering the size and the amount of wool I would need is extremely huge. I am going to just spawn myself all the stuff needed this once, heres why:
